We are looking for a knowledgeable and Jewishly-committed 6th & 7th grade Jewish Studies synagogue school teacher with good rapport with this age group. Student-centered and hands-on approach. Teaching, camp and/or youth group leadership experience required. You will be working closely with the rabbi and "flip-flopping": You will teach grade 6 while she teaches grade 7 and vice-versa. Curriculum provided for both grades. Support provided by the Education Director. Located in Rockland County, NY, just after the border between NJ and NY. Hours: Tuesdays and Thursday from 4:15 - 6:15. Monthly one-hour staff meetings with dinner after class.
